A Christmas message from the Trustees

What a year this has been!!! Mike and the team have done sterling work on site and he lists them all by name in his excellent report, a link to which can be found on this home page. The work he has done with the CSI teams from the Cheshire Constabulary has already paid dividends and we are hoping to be seeing CSIs from other local forces on site in 2005.

Steve and Ray have over the last few years taken on the mammoth task of cataloguing all the skeletons on site and they have produced two remarkable reports, both of which can be found on the site and are well worth a read. Well done and thank you both very much indeed for all the hard work you have put in.

Alan Brown has again not been found wanting and has helped Mike with the geophys work this year. It is hoped he will be bringing onto site a new machine this coming year; we await its appearance with anticipation.

Ian Kirkman has continued to provide us here at Poulton with one of the best websites available for a project of our size. Ian thank you very much indeed for your hard work and time given, which has literally put us on the map, thank you.

Finally a huge thank you must go to you, the person reading this report!!! Without your continued support either as a Friend of Poulton or just an interested member of the public, we would not be able to continue. We are very fortunate in having the continued support of the Duke of Westminster and Ralph Fiennes whose substantial support is the backbone of the project's finances and its future.

Thank you one and all and may we wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
