It's a small world We moved to Shanghai as a family in September 2004 where our 2 daughters attended the British
International School Shanghai. In 2005 the new building was to be officially opened. As a special guest
speaker the actor Ralph Fiennes was invited as he was filming The White Countess in Shanghai. Our oldest
daughter Amber was head girl at the time and in that capacity she met Ralph and a picture was taken of
the occasion. 4 years later, summer 2008, we move as a family to Poulton. One of our new neighbours is
Mike Emery who got us enthusiastic about the archaeological site he is running together with lots of
dedicated volunteers. We decided to take a week's trainings course and absolutely loved it. Imagine our
Amber is the first on the left.
