Authorship of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
The elusive identity of the Gawain and the Green Knight-poet has
long remained a tantalizing mystery explored by scholars during much of the
twentieth century . Jean E. Jost, of the Department of English, Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, USA has recently completed an
article on this topic. The poem contains
